Today the new building of an Employment and Business Development Centre – a Window Office of the JOBS Project Business Centre – will be officially unveiled in the Roma neighbourhood in Elhovo.
Since the beginning of 2007 the Centre is helping the people in minority communities to find a job, start up a new business or improve their qualification. In close partnership with local institutions and organisations, it also works to change the employers’ attitudes to the employment potential of minority communities.
The establishment of the Centre is funded by the UK Global Opportunities Fund and UNDP. Its new building is granted and is to be renovated by the Municipality of Elhovo.
