Refugees in Bulgaria and Human Rights.
Supreme Administrative Court Model.

The initiative was derived from the UN school club in Satovcha, Bulgaria. Students and teachers from the local school organized a Supreme Administrative Court Model for Taking Desicions about Refugee Status.

"In the name of justice and law" was the title which the young people chose for their Model. In order to set up the game the students observed a real Supreme Administrative Court Sitting in Sofia.
UNA of Bulgaria published a Model Kit with information about the legal procedures in Bulgaria regarding refugee status.
The Model participants
The book includes various educational materials related to the issue of refugees. All UN school clubs received the edition with our reference to enact the same or similar Model in their club.

By enacting the Supreme Administrative Court Model, students learned more about the refugee problem in Bulgaria and in the world.

At that time UNHCR celebrated its 50th anniversary.

United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights Branch Office in Sofia supported the project and donated a computer to the UN club in Satovcha.
